Jackson Hills Advisory is the buyer-side advisory practice of Jackson Hills Consulting LLC. We work exclusively for the company paying for the ERP — never for the software vendor or the systems integrator.
Why we exist
Most of the D365 work we've done in the last decade started the same way: a phone call from a CFO or controller whose implementation had already gone sideways. Missed dates. UAT that never really tested anything. A partner asking for a change order the buyer thought was in scope. A go-live delayed twice with no clear path to the third try.
Every one of those calls was preventable. Every one of them cost the company more to fix than it would have cost to hire an independent voice at the beginning. That's the reason Jackson Hills Advisory exists: to be the person you hire before you hire your implementer — or if you didn't, the person you call before the next milestone slips.
What we actually do
We represent the buyer in every conversation an ERP program requires. Partner selection. SOW and change-order review. UAT design. Data migration governance. Cutover authority. Executive communication. Post go-live stabilization.
We do not resell software. We do not take partner commissions. We do not staff implementations. Our only fee is the one you pay us, and our only loyalty is to your program.

Twenty-plus years across Microsoft Dynamics GP and the D365 platform — Finance & Supply Chain Management at the core, extending into Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Operations, Business Central, and the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). Deep experience in mid-market manufacturing, distribution, construction and utility services, healthcare, and consumer businesses. Offices in Nashville, TN and Tallahassee, FL. Serving clients across the United States.
How we work
- Fixed-fee engagements where possible. Retainers where the work is continuous.
- Written deliverables — reports, matrices, plans. Not slide decks that go stale.
- Named meetings and named artifacts. Not "as needed."
- Honest recommendations. If you don't need us, we say so.
