Independent D365 Advisory

Get the ERP program
you were promised.

Independent guidance for companies implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 — from partner selection through go-live and beyond. We sit on your side of the table so you get a business transformation, not just a software installation.

What we do
Represent the buyer — never the software vendor or the SI.
Who we help
Mid-market companies on or moving to Microsoft Dynamics 365 — ERP-first, platform-wide.
When to call
Before you sign an SOW. Or when your implementation starts to drift.

If any of this sounds familiar, you need an independent voice on your side of the table.

01

Your implementation partner keeps saying “that's a change order.”

02

Your UAT feels like a demo — not a real dress rehearsal.

03

Your data migration and cutover plan doesn't have a single owner.

04

You've been told your team has to write the test scenarios, test cases, and user guides — from scratch.

05

Twelve weeks in and the partner still hasn't stood up a working baseline of the system to walk you through.

You're not being paranoid. These are the earliest signals that a program is drifting from business transformation into a software install. The earlier you intervene, the cheaper the fix.

Why independent

We measure success in your outcomes, not our utilization.

We represent the buyer

No partner commissions. No channel incentives. No software resale. Our only fee is the one you pay us, and our only loyalty is to your program.

We speak both languages

Twenty-plus years across Dynamics GP, D365 Finance & Supply Chain, and enterprise finance operations. We translate between the CFO, the controller, and the config screen.

Fixed scope, written deliverables

Fixed-fee engagements where possible. Every recommendation lands as a written artifact your team can act on — not a slide deck that goes stale in a week.

Services

A structured 2–3 week independent review of an in-flight D365 program. Red / yellow / green scorecard across ten disciplines, a prioritized risk register, and a written executive readout.

Selected engagements

Work that speaks for itself.

A representative slice of recent D365 programs — anonymized, but the mechanics are real.

8-week reimplementation

A regional health system — 4 hospitals and 336 offsite facilities

Recovery project on a failed rollout. Full reimplementation of financials, EDI-heavy inventory, and integrations to healthcare patient systems — all live within eight weeks. Stayed on for two years managing the system and building out reporting and operational efficiencies.

One controlled cutover across every site — then two years of measurable optimization.

Go-live rescue

A regional membership & mobility services organization — four-month rescue to a fixed go-live date

An auto-club-style member services business with two failed go-live starts. The partner had already moved the date and the business could not miss the next one. Came in with four months to correct two years of prior work — and hit the date. Stayed eight months post go-live for optimization, advanced feature rollout, and enhanced reporting.

Hit the go-live date. Stabilized the program. Delivered the reporting the business was originally promised.

Cutover governance

A $300M construction & utility business, GP → D365 F&SCM

Built an operational-continuity migration model: active master data, open documents, and opening balances into D365; detailed history retained in the legacy system and reporting archive. Cutover milestones tied to explicit go / no-go authority.

“The first plan where the CFO actually knew what would be true on day one.”

Credit & collections

A global toy company, D365 Finance stabilization

Replaced an ad-hoc practice of editing credit limits to force order releases with a governed exception design — blocking-reason diagnostics, explicit release reasons, workflow approval, separate settings for overdue tolerance vs. post-release grace — all gated on a written delegation-of-authority matrix.

Audit-ready credit process, restored to how the CFO originally described it.

Platform coverage

ERP is our front door. The rest of the platform is fair game.

We take on the ERP program end‑to‑end — Finance and Supply Chain Management, Business Central, Project Operations. When the same program pulls in the customer‑facing D365 apps or the Power Platform, we advise there too. One buyer-side team, one program view.
